Tom Ford - 2009 Snooker World Championship - 400/1 1pt E/W

It is not often that you see 400/1 tips, but that is what the Racing Post have today in the shape of Tom Ford. An accomplished snooker player, he has a reasonable chance of qualifying for next year's World Chamionsip. If that happens, the 400/1 will be long since gone.

hmmm, bit puzzled here Chris. Even if he qualifies he will still start at 200/1 ish wouldn't he? Even at 100/1 you're not getting much back for a years investment.Thoughts?

James, I wouldn't put off anyone backing Wembo at 100/1 - I'm keeping an eye on this one.

Anonymous, depending on how he performs he would probably be 100/1. I guess I'm taking 4/1 on him qualifying, which I think is a fair price.

For a one year period, the interest is only 5%, not too bad.
